I challenge you to stare fear in the face and tell it to move. Set a time limit. 2 hours or less. Set the alarm if it helps. Allowing fear to persist beyond 24 hours is risky business. The idea will be obliterated as doubt takes root. Your dream will be a distant thought turned nightmare the day you stumble upon your idea flourishing under someone else's leaders.
I'll never forget this JBU moment. The team member looked at me and told me I was crazy. There was no way it would ever happen and subsequently quit. My gut would not allow me to convince her otherwise. Instead I silently prayed she would be removed. She quit. I thanked the Big Guy in the sky and suddenly it was as though the heavens parted and the barriers mysteriously disappeared. The longer you allow the artist to paint on your canvas without your vision, the longer you will spin your wheels.
